A selection of community, funded and collaborative ceramic projects exploring creativity, connection and place. Each initiative reflects our commitment to inclusive making and shared learning.
School Projects
Curriculum-linked ceramic workshops: pupils design, build and glaze individual pieces contributing to larger collaborative outcomes (e.g. the peacock mural).
Pandemics in Ceramics
A project connecting people with archaeological research into the Black Death by creating medieval-style tiles commemorating collective COVID-19 experiences, part of the Being Human festival with the University of Lincoln.
2-gether
Arts Council & National Lottery funded project supporting people requiring a carer; collaborative three-dimensional tiles forming a large mural.
Tonic Tasters
Work with dementia and mental health groups (Tonic Health) teaching ceramic techniques culminating in an exhibition of participant work.
Community Clay
Creative Response to Loneliness programme: distributed kits enabling personalised ceramic tiles with no prior clay experience required.
Scott House (Community Clay)
Extension of Community Clay jointly funded by Transported and Scott House; all tiles produced by Scott House attendees.
Boston Buoys
Commission with local schoolchildren producing clay fish incorporated into a larger mosaic installation.
